RETURN AND EXCHANGE POLICY

    • Should you receive an item that you’re not happy with, please contact us within 5 working days.
    • We will however need you to return the item to us before we can arrange for a credit note. Once we receive the item, you will receive your credit note via email. This credit note will however not include your original shipping cost.

RETURNING UNWANTED GOODS

In order to make this process as stress free as possible, we will refund you your money back or exchange your purchase. We cannot unfortunately cover the return cost but we will however give you a shopping voucher to the same value.

If you live in Johannesburg, please feel free to return you purchase to our studio. You can help us help you by following these few easy conditions.

To return your unwanted non-defected goods:

 

    • We need to be notified within 48 hours after you receive your goods, which must be returned within 7 (seven) working days from delivery.
    • Please remember to include in the parcel the reference given to you by our team. This will help to process your requests as soon as possible.
    • Undamaged and unused, which means in jewellery terms, no visible scratches, nicks or dents in the metal and or stone surfaces. Earring wire pins need to be in their original shape according to manufacturing design. All part/s of the manufactured design needs to be in their original state.
    • Returned in the original YOUNG + CO packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition.

RETURNING INCORRECT OR DEFECTED GOODS

In the unlikely case that you receive incorrect or defected goods, we will refund your money back or exchange the goods. In this instance, we will also cover the cost of returning the goods to us.

​To return your incorrect or damaged goods, they need to be:

    • Returned within 7 (seven) working days from delivery. Please remember to include in the parcel the reference given to you by our team. This will help to process your requests as soon as possible.
    • Returned in the original YOUNG + CO packaging which must be undamaged and in its original condition.

PLEASE NOTE: If the goods are found not to be defected or damaged prior to your delivery, we will not refund you or do an exchange. You will also be liable for the cost of delivering the goods back to you. Wear and tear in the course of normal use is not considered a manufacturing fault. Jewellery is delicate and should be handled WITH CARE. Damage from mishandling is not considered a manufacturing fault.

Kindly notify YOUNG + CO by email with the following details:

 

    • A photograph of the item with a description of the fault.
    • A “proof of purchase”, being either the email confirmation from YOUNG + CO or bank statement.
    • YOUNG + CO will respond with confirmation of the address to post your item.
    • Items must be sent via a trackable method.
    • YOUNG + CO cannot be held responsible for goods that may be lost or damaged during return shipping, therefore ensure all items being returned are securely packaged with protective wrapping and clearly addressed. Any items not thoroughly packaged to avoid damage during transit will not be accepted, so please take care when posting.
    • For International returns, mark on the postal company’s consignment ‘Returned Goods’ to ensure that the items do not attract possible customs duties and taxes once again.
    • The item will be assessed upon return for fault.
    • Refunds will be made through PayPal. The refund will be processed as soon as the items have been received by YOUNG + CO, however, please allow up to 14 days from the day you return the item for your account to be credited.
    • Please note, unfortunately returns may not be made from a YOUNG + CO stockist. Please visit the stockist the item was purchased from and follow their Returns Policy.
